Orange County Birth Photography
Honest, documentary images that hold not just what your birth looked like, but what it felt like to bring your baby into the world.

Documentary birth photography
Unposed, honest, and rich with feeling
I'm drawn to documentary photography for the way it captures life with honesty, emotion, and permanence. My images are unposed and unscripted — the squeeze of a hand, the first cry, the overwhelming rush of love, and the quiet in-between.
I photograph hospital births, birth center births, and home births with a calm, unobtrusive presence. My work is less about beautiful coverage alone and more about ethical presence, trust, and grounding.
Photographs that help you remember not just what it looked like, but what it felt like to bring your baby into the world.

Everything about how it felt
We are so blessed by these photos and the moments you captured. Reliving that day through them was so much more positive than I expected — even during the hard parts, I can see all the faces around me, smiling and praying for me.
— Documented hospital birth
My facial reactions to seeing these went from shy to shocked to happy tears. Thank you for capturing these photos and videos — I could not have gone through it without you.
— Birth photography family
Her photographs captured the raw beauty of my birth in a way I never expected. I cry happy tears every time I look at them.

The doulatog difference
A photographer who is also there to hold the moment
Compared with the average birth photographer, I'm more support-centered and more immersed in the lived experience of birth — not only there to capture the moment, but to help hold it.
When you choose both doula support and photography, your story is documented by someone already in your circle of trust, which means more intimate images and fewer strangers in your birth space.
